Hello everyone, I am Taylor Bloss, the mother of Tilly Bloss. 
This go fund me account was recommended to be set up by our daughters plastic surgeon Dr.Guo, at Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters.
Tilly Bloss is 7 months old, and truly the sweetest baby you could imagine. Tilly was born on July 14th, 2023 at the gestational age of 34 weeks. Tilly was born 6 weeks prematurely resulting in a 9 day NICU stay. Since Tilly’s birth doctors have expressed concerns about Tilly’s skull. The biggest concern was Tilly potentially needing surgery to correct Craniosynostosis. After the second appointment on 02/21/2024 with Dr.Guo we have learned that Tilly doesn’t need surgery right now but it is not off the table. In this appointment he confirmed Tilly has scaphocephaly and needs a Cranial helmet. Tilly also has to have physical therapy to help with other physical issues she was born with. We will revisit Dr.Guo in 3 months to discuss if surgery is still on the table.
Myself and my husband, Tilly’s father Jarrett Bloss are both active duty military members, Dr.Guo suggested this Go fund me due to our insurance (Tricare) not covering the cranial helmet that is $3000, and other medical costs that Tilly may need due to her medical conditions.
A cranial helmet is extremely crucial during this time to prevent brain damage, seizures, blindness etc.
Without all the proper treatment, Tilly’s brain will not be able to grow and function the way it needs to, that’s why this is so important.
My family truly appreciates any help given and all donations received to help us make sure our daughter Tilly has the best possible care. Being far away from family and friends is hard, but we are forever grateful for our amazing support system and the love that surrounds our children. From the bottom of our heart, thank you.
