Scarlett Hope

I’ve created this page because we’ve had many people reach out and ask for our story and ways they can help.
We ask everyone to pray for us, make a donation if you can, every little bit helps, and leave your warm wishes in the comments which we will read to Scarlett Hope everyday as we sit here at her bedside in the hospital NICU where we are blessed with exceptional, caring nurses and neonatologists.
Scarlett Hope made her grand entrance into this world December 29th, 2017. 2lbs 13oz of toughness who melts our hearts and changed our world for the better. As most of you already know,I was chosen to carry an Angel, she was 7 weeks premature and diagnosed with Trisomy 18, all we know is the immense pain we feel at the thought of losing our precious Scarlett Hope. She will be having a heart Surgery within the next couple of days and for this she will be transferred to Columbia Presbyterian in New York.
Unfortunately, since I have been at my job for less than 1 year, I am not eligible for FMLA benefits, which ordinarily guarantee 12 weeks of leave. I am asking for enough money to cover what I would be getting paid plus the cost of insurance which usually comes out of my paycheck.
All funds will also be used to replace some lost income and travel expenses to and from the hospital that I will travel to daily from New Jersey.
It’s humbling to be in this position and I regret that we are in it but we are hoping that with prayers and positivity and the love of those around us that we will be able to make it through this extremely difficult time with a little less stress.
We are humbly asking that you help is out so that I spend this very special and sadly limited time with my beautiful Scarlett Hope.
Please help if you can! If you are unable to contribute simply sharing this with others is a HUGE help.
Thank You all who have thought of us during this very difficult times.
