Scarlett's volunteer trip to Borneo 2025

Hello,

My name is Scarlett, I’m currently 14 years old and aiming to raise over £4,500 to fund a-once-in-a-lifetime trip to Borneo with World Challenge.

This trip will be 13 nights in July 2025. It will involve me camping and trekking in the rainforest in the north of Borneo as well as introducing turtles into the wild, going snorkelling and planting mangrove trees. I will also be visiting an orangutan sanctuary which is one of the only two places in the world where you can see these animals in their natural habitat. This trip will help me learn more about sustainability and conservation which is key to our future.

This trip would mean the world to me as it will be one of the greatest experiences ever. It is the trip of a lifetime and will teach me many important things like independence, teamwork, as well as other important life skills.

Using this site to help fundraise is one of many methods I am using to raise this money so any help is greatly appreciated!
