Scavenged Souls Haunt 2024
Donation protected
Scavenged Souls is a home haunt in Woodstock, GA, founded by neighbors Mike & Tracie Clark and Robert & Nichole Morris. Our haunt is open to the public and admission is free, but we encourage guests to bring canned or dry goods to donate to our favorite local charity food pantries Never Alone & Bascomb Mission Thrift (they're amazing!) We've been operating in the Bradshaw Park neighborhood just a few miles north of downtown Woodstock since 2016, and growing steadily every year. If that sounds pretty awesome to you: we agree! But don't take our word for it - check out photos, videos, and feedback from guests on our (new!) website https://scavengedsouls.com
This amazing walkthrough video from 2023 captures some (but not all!) of last year's experience:
Our 2023 season brought in over 2000 guests and more than 1.5 metric tons (3000+ pounds) of donated food & goods!
For our 2024 season, our biggest expenses currently look to be:
* operational - insurance, county permitting, fire code adherence (smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, etc)
* paint - this year's theme/design requires a LOT more painting
* new lighting elements - mostly outdoor, but some indoor too!
* new long board lumber - 2x4 and 2x6 10-footers!
* portable A/C & ventilation for some of our indoor spaces
...and there's always the usual every year "little" expenses that add up SO quickly: screws, prop hardware, patches & repairs, etc
None of these things are free, but they're necessary for us to continue offering the haunt experience you've all come to know and love. So we're asking for your financial support to help us open our doors for yet another year. Join us in making 2024 another great season so we can all donate even more to these incredible local charities and feed more hungry bellies!
Stay spooky!
