Hello everyone! We are excited to present to you all our fundraiser for Scavengers the film. This is a short 3D animated short film set to release in Spring 2024. This family-friendly, adventurous story follows a tenacious tinkerer, Pinpin, and a mischievous magpie, Matilda, as they vie for a shiny bottle cap. Their rivalry ensues various hijinks and leads to chaos, leading to them ultimately working together if they wish to co-exist.
The project is being created by 15 talented student artists within the UCF Character Animation program. Each reward in this campaign was designed and curated by an artist working on the film. With your financial help, we are thrilled to present these rewards that will help the film prosper to its fullest potential!
Our mission is to raise funds to give us student artists the opportunity to finalize the short film, as well as receive exposure for the work field as we set to graduate in Spring 2024. For us to reach these milestones, we are setting a goal of $6,000. We hope to meet this goal, but if we go above this, we can unlock more tier rewards such as the Scavengers Artbook (this will be an individual reward separate from the following tiers).

Note: Due to being a student-led production, we can only ship orders within the U.S.
There are four types of 5 x 7-inch prints that display our characters, props, and environment.

We also have two 11 x 17-inch posters, one of our official film and another promoting recycling.

In our team production setting, we always aim to emulate professionalism and open communication with those involved in the project. Having used and/or done extensive research with our manufacturers of choice, we are confident in staying on track.
All rewards will be sent out sometime after March 13th, 2024. This is also the last day of our campaign for guaranteed rewards!
Being a student-led production, we do not receive a budget from the university and are completely reliant on outside support. Therefore, all and any donations are appreciated! Note: Please be aware that when donating, tips do not go to our production but rather to the platform.
These funds will be going towards making the film the best it can be by supporting our technical production, musical composers, film festival entries, and reward items for donors like you!
Animation is a complex process that takes lots of time and energy. Yet, we as a team are confident and prepared to work to make this production fantastic. Outside of the art, we are also responsible for supporting our composers. Since our film omits dialogue, ensuring we support the sound design is even more crucial for pushing the visual narrative. As for film festival entries, this helps us reach wider audiences and invaluable recognition from professionals in the animation industry.
If we pass our initial goal funding of raising $6000, we will be able to unlock our stretch goal reward: the Artbook!
