St Senans Blast to Croker for Milford Care Centre

We in St Senans GAA want to show our support for the Milford Care Centre so our Intermediate football team are asking you to donate to our "St Senans Blast to Croker and Back" fundraiser.
On Sunday, May 3rd we as a football team plan to run the distance from our GAA field in Foynes to Croke Park and back again That's a total of 486km
We will be strictly following the social distancing rules and guidelines and will rely on each member of the team to run sprint or walk as much as they can while always keeping and obeying the social distancing rules. This will be a virtual run to Croke Park and back with the distance covered by our football team at various locations throughout the county.
As we all struggle with the threats of the Coronavirus that is spreading through the world we can forget that there are many other people within our community who are suffering from various life-threatening illness.
Milford Care Centre located in Limerick aims to provide the highest quality of care to patients or residents, family and friends, both in the areas of palliative care and services to the older person.
All our lives have been touched in some way by the expert care offered at Milford Care Centre be that through the illness of family or friends.
During the last few weeks of this national lockdown, we are more aware than ever that places like Milford have been unable to raise vital funds in order to ensure that it continues to offer the highest possible care to all its patients.
We know we are in uncertain times at present but are asking you to give what you can to help ensure Milford Care Centre continue to be in a position to offer world-class care to the most vulnerable people in our society
