Support Sad Clown Club's Move For Stability!

Hello friends, family, and community! If you don't know us, we're Kei and Jules! Together we run Sad Clown Club; a little shop based in Saint Louis, Missouri that centers #MobilityAidFashion and our experiences as queer, trans, Black, and disabled artists. We have used Sad Clown Club to support ourselves and foster community with people who share in similar experiences since 2020, experimenting with all sorts of creative outlets along the way. We absolutely love what we do, and it has been such a genuine pleasure to inspire fun and funky disabled people all over the world with our art!

This year has been incredibly hard for everyone, and that is especially evident in the lives of those who rely on others having disposable income to spend on art and accessories. Orders have been down all year, and we've been making significantly less overall at in-person markets this season. We've become more and more worn down and burned out in 2024, stuck in a cycle of barely scraping by with no room for growth or even thinking about achieving our greater goals for a more fulfilling and stable life. It's become clear to us in the last several months that we are no longer able to sustain our current living situation, and escaping that cycle is extremely necessary for our mental and physical health.

So, we're moving!! Our last day in our apartment is September 30th. We have our new living situation all worked out already, and the good news is that our moving expenses should be pretty minimal! We're gunna be able to slowly move things out of our current apartment over the next few months to make it as efficient and easy on our bodies as we can. Still, packing and moving is a stressful process that takes a LOT of time and effort. We will need some support for these last couple months to make this move happen and also pay our final months of rent and other bills here. If you have anything to spare to help us in this process, any help means the world to us!!

We URGENTLY need to raise at least $350 to be able to pay our current rent due by 8/5/24!
