Our "home", Donk’s Theater, was destroyed recently due to a winter storm, which collapsed the roof. While we do not own the building, all of our equipment (sound, lights, instruments, etc.) and everything else we had was either damaged or lost. We were able to salvage some photos of past artists, the popcorn machine, the candy case, and some of the marquee letters, which was an amazing blessing! While there was some insurance, it is not nearly enough to cover the costs of full replacement.
My partners and I (Betsy Ripley, Joanna Nix, Jimmy Smith, Lynda Smith) are so grateful to have received so many offers of folks wanting to help that we were encouraged to start this page. Give as you see fit…or not at all. The kindness you have already offered us in phone calls, messages, texts and emails has been so uplifting and appreciated.
Thank you for coming to our shows over the past 40 very memorable years. With your help, the show will go on. God bless you.
