Spinal Surgery. Scheuermann’s Disease
Donation protected
Hi my name is Kyle. I’m 34 and live in Rochester, MN. I have had chronic back pain for over 10 years. Earlier this year I was finally given a diagnosis. Scheuermann’s Kyphosis (hunchback). It’s untreatable, but manageable. I’ve gone through all the possible treatments to remedy the pain. Physical therapy, chiropractor, exercise, stretching, back brace, acupuncture. The final option is a spinal fusion, which I was wanting to hold off on. But due to an accident I had in July I am unable to put it off any further. The pain is debilitating on most days. I have to wear my neck brace just to sleep at night. My health insurance will pay for all but 20k. I’m hoping some more fortunate people are in a position to help. I’ve neglected my health in the past due to my drug addiction. I’m proud to say I’m 13 months deep in my recovery and sobriety. I’m giving back to my community daily by doing service work where ever I can find it. I’ve applied for disability as I am unable to work at the moment. It takes a lot of courage for me to reach out like this. I’m an extremely private person with a lot of pride. I’m letting my guard down and allowing myself to become vulnerable. I need the kind act of strangers to help me out. Please help if you can and send prayers if you can’t. Please share this for me. Thank you and God Bless.
