Schissler Family Medical needs

Hi, my name is Cassie and I’m starting this fundraiser to help the Schissler family. Skyler is an extremely hard working devoted husband and father.

Skyler was working on remodeling a house and his knee just started swelling up. Didn’t twist or step wrong, nothing like that. After a week of his knee and leg swelling up he went to the ER to make sure it wasn’t getting infected. They took blood work and things looked good. They just gave him some steroids for swelling and told him to take it easy so he did. Then last Sunday it was so bad he couldn’t even walk so he went back to the ER. They found out he was septic and admitted him. After 2 days on heavy IV antibiotics they decided to open him up and clean it out. He was in the hospital for 6 days and will have to continue on IV antibiotics for at least 2 weeks where he has to go into the ER to get. ($600/day for that alone). The medical bills are over $20,000 for just the month.

 

 

The fact he is still alive is a true miracle in itself!!!
