Schnabel family Bile Duct Cancer Journey...

Hi, Im Kelly Schnabel and my husband Brett (46) has Stage 4 Bile duct Cancer which is rare and unfortunately a death sentence type of Cancer. Brett was diagnosed in 2021, having hundreds of tumors in & around his liver. We were told he had 6 months to a year to live. Brett was a perfect candidate for a medical trial & did amazing on it for 1 1/2 years. When his tumors stopped shrinking & started growing again Brett was taken off the trial. Brett then endured chemotherapy for close to 2 long & difficult years. Driving back and forth to Seattle, having to take many days off of work for me was expensive & ate our savings up. Let me tell you a little bit about our wonderful family. We have lived in Allyn Wa. for over 20 years and love our little community. Brett & I just celebrated our 16th year together, we've had so many wonderful adventures together & with our 4 kids as well. We do not have any children together, but Brett accepted my girls as his & I accepted his son as mine. Brett was a Union Iron worker for 20 years and loved his job. We've always been able to pay our bills on time, have a little extra for fun things to do with the family. Until now! I work at a local feed store & am needed now more at home then ever to take care of my husband and try to enjoy the limited days we have with him. Brett is on hospice care now and our nurse has stated that he doesn't have much time with us anymore. That brings me here to ask our community for some help.
