Schnapper's Hots Sanibel Hurricane Ian

Hurricane Ian gave Schnapper's Hots the foot long. Schnapper’s Hots, Sanibel Island’s beloved local restaurant, has been utterly devastated by Hurricane Ian’s high winds and storm surge. Voted the best takeout on the island since 1998, Schnapper’s Hots has been serving local and vacationing guests for almost 25 years. The building itself is one of the oldest structures on the island, but it has sustained structural damage and everything inside the restaurant is destroyed. We’ve been a long-standing icon in the community and employ many people. Schnapper’s Hots is more than just a restaurant – it is a labor of love, and we are absolutely heartbroken. The devastation has left our employees without income to support their families.

Our community and the Schnapper’s family have come together to repair and rebuild our lives, but we are greatly in need of help. Any donations would help immensely to help us support our employees and rebuild. Please feel free to share or repost to help get the word out.
