Hello,

My name is Shawn Schoen. I am 41 years old and a husband of a wonderful wife,father to three beautiful daughters and a veteran of the Army National Guard. In February 2022 I was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer. I was able to have surgery to remove the tumor followed by chemo and radiation therapy. Despite the extensive surgery and all the grueling treatments, no treatment has been successful and I am showing signs of the cancer progressing. In June I had to have a stent placed and they also have discovered fluid in my abdomen. The pain I am experiencing is overwhelming. I have tried so hard to continue to work to provide for my family, but it has come to a point where I am unable to do so. My income is what keeps my family afloat and the only life insurance I have is through my employer. Combined with all the medical bills that have accumulated, it’s a great burden. I’m trying all I can do to make sure my family is taken care of while I battle this beast of a disease. Any support is so appreciated.❤️
