Scholarship for Maui Forest Therapy Guide Training

Aloha, we're Maui natives Joy Galatro, Edward Baldwin (Maui Forest Bathing ), and Honolulu-based Phyllis Look (Forest Bathing Hawaiʻi ). Together we have devised HEALING TREES: A Series of Free Forest Bathing Walks for Maui. Through this 2024 series of walks, we are hoping to enlist at least 10 full-time Maui residents committed to a course of training and certification from the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy to become forest therapy guides. Their ongoing presence and service will support the Maui community as they continue to recover from the wildfires of 2023. Your donation to a scholarship fund to assist with tuition for those guides who apply early will be MATCHED dollar-for-dollar by Maui Forest Bathing. Please give as generously as you can.
