Scholarship for UWC Maastricht

We are 4 staff members from UWC Maastricht who are each running a marathon this Spring of 2022: Kate will run in Paris,  Craig and Edward in Rotterdam and Robin in Amersfoort.
We have decided to use our running goals as an opportunity to raise funds for a scholarship for a student from Ukraine to attend UWC Maastricht for the two year International Baccalaureate Programme.  The school's mission to make education a force for peace and a sustainable future becomes even more pertinent in a time of war and violent conflict. For decades, students from war torn countries, including from Ukraine and Russia, have been living and learning together peacefully on UWC campuses, alongside other students from the region and across the world.  While the school joins the global community in calling for an immediate end to the war in Ukraine, it also wants to contribute to the building of bridges for the future, by providing additional scholarships for students from Ukraine. This is where we, Kate, Craig, Edward and Robin  would like to help!
