Donation protected
Please help me help this family by sending donations. This young man loved hunting as much as I do and I want to help raise money in his memory to donate all proceeds to his scholarship fund. This is just the next town over but we all are family. Prayer for the family and friends in the days ahead. Please read the post about the scholarship fund below and thank you for any and all donations. @wickedkillercustomcalls @nextsouthergenerationoutdoors
Community, Friends, Coaches, School Officials Establish Scholarship Fund in Memory of Collin “Snap” Winslow
A family, friends, school officials and community are mourning the loss of 15-year-old Collin Ray “Snap” Winslow who died as the result of a hunting accident on Friday, May 5. Following the accident, Facebook profiles (from across the northeast region) changed to a black and gold #18, paying tribute to this young man’s life and the impact he had on others.
Collin, the son of Ken and Holly Winslow and older brother (and best buddy) to Harris, was a role model to other students. He was a lovable, polite young man who doted on his younger brother. His quiet demeanor, kindness and integrity was an example to others.
“The PQ family, community and friends in Perquimans County and school officials of Perquimans County Schools will create a Scholarship honoring the life and legacy of this young man,” said Foundation Executive Director Brenda Lassiter. “I have received dozens of calls over the weekend of individuals and businesses who want to give to ensure Collin’s legacy lives on forever. “His impact of 15 years on this earth is immeasurable,” she said. “The loss of this fine young man has left his family, neighbors, coaches, school friends and community in deep grief,” said Lassiter.
