Scholarship in Memory of Jaleria Bethel Burt

Thank you so much for all the calls, texts and showers of love shown to us during this difficult time. Some of you have asked is there anything that can be done in lieu of flowers and the answer is a resounding YES. After relocating to Cincinnati, Ohio, Jaleria began a second career as the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer at St Xavier High School. She was a strong advocate for the students and passionate about their issues and challenges. To continue her legacy of support to students, we are establishing a scholarship in her memory. The specifics of the scholarship will be determined in the months ahead. This is a jump start to fund the scholarship for those of you that want to contribute NOW. All funds donated here will be transferred to the scholarship. Those that choose to donate now by name, will be notified once the scholarship is established and funds have been transferred. Donations can be made directly to the scholarship once established.
