School Drive For Jamaica's Underprivileged

Since 2018, Marline Cowans, Pastor Daniel Cowans, and their family have been dedicated to supporting back-to-school initiatives in Jamaica, with plans to expand these efforts into 2025. In their inaugural year, the Cowans family provided Mocho Basic Institute in Clarendon with essential back-to-school supplies, including backpacks for every student, and contributed to the school's infrastructure by constructing a playground and two restrooms.

In 2019, Ashley Primary School benefited from their initiative, receiving backpacks filled with school stationery for over 200 students. Additionally, they established a serenity garden on the school grounds for the enjoyment of students, teachers, and staff. That same year, Brixton Hill Primary School was painted, and more than 300 students received backpacks filled with school supplies. During each distribution event, the Cowans family also prepares and serves meals for students, their families, teachers, and school staff.

Looking ahead, the Cowans family is committed to continuing their back-to-school drive, focusing on underprivileged students throughout Jamaica. In 2025, they plan to broaden their outreach to a wider area, with the following schools in Manchester slated to receive assistance during the upcoming back-to-school season: Plouding Primary, Marlie Hill Primary, Groove Town Primary, Woodland Primary, and Cross Key Secondary School.

Your financial contribution is crucial before July 2025, as we aim to obtain extra school supplies, food, and clothing, manage shipping and customs in Jamaica, and ensure the distribution of back-to-school supplies before the new school year starts in August 2025.
