School Supplies for Schools in Baruwa, Nepal
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Oliver and I am raising money to purchase school supplies and sporting equipment for two schools in Baruwa, Nepal. This is an area that my dad has been working with his NGO (The Himalayan Development Foundation Australia) for 7 years supporting local communities after the devastating earthquakes destroyed almost every building in the area in 2015.
In April, I am travelling with dad to this remote part of Nepal to see firsthand the work that has been done to improve the two schools, including replacing the building in the photo to create a safe place for learning. This will also mean kids in years 6-8 won’t have to walk 4 hours to and from school each day.
I love going to school and having the resources to make it a fun and engaging place to learn. I want to give this same opportunity to the kids at these remote schools. I will purchase supplies when we get to Kathmandu to provide support to the local economy.
Thank you for your support,
