School Supplies for Wyandanch School District

Long Island is one of the most segregated areas in New York state and indeed the country. Long Island is home to some of the wealthiest and poorest people in the entire nation. As of the 2019 census, it is estimated that 24.5% of Wyandanch school district's population is living below the poverty line. Despite this striking statistic, Wyandanch schools still receive roughly 18-20% less funding than high-performing schools on the North Shore.
