Schreiber HS Native Plant Garden Eagle Scout Service Project

Hi! My name is Jeremy Fahmy and I am a Boy Scout in Troop 7 of Port Washington. I am working towards the rank of Eagle Scout, and in doing so, I am leading an Eagle Scout service project.

The project will include the development of a native plant garden in the courtyard of Paul D. Schreiber High School. We will be adding 10 different species of native plants in order to promote a healthy ecosystem. While invasive plants only support a few other organisms, native plants can support hundreds.
