Schreiner Recovery Fund

If you are lucky enough to know the Schreiner’s, I have no doubt they have contributed to your life in some way. Kevin and Debbie have spent decades educating and coaching our youth across Weld County, and have had an enormous impact on countless lives. Kev and Deb’s family are creating this page to try and reciprocate our gratitude as they continue fighting their unfortunate medical circumstances.
It has been a difficult couple of years for the Schreiner’s to say the least. In addition to Kevin fighting (and beating the hell out of) pancreatic cancer, Debbie too had undergone a cancer battle of her own shortly after Kevin went into remission. After many procedures and difficult conversations, the doctors felt the best chance at long-term health was to move forward with the amputation of Debbie’s affected leg, which was performed here in October.
Those of you who know Deb and Kev, they are taking this in stride. The jokes, puns and sense of humor in these two is very much still intact. I can’t think of any other people on this earth who could have taken this collective battle with as much courage as these two have.
Unfortunately, as many of us know, the cost of these types of hardships is sometimes insurmountable. Aside from losing a business they started with their son Kory in 2020 largely due to these hardships, the costs associated with new medical equipment, mounting surgery costs and modifications to their home to accommodate Debbie's condition have proven to be an entirely new battle these two will be facing.
We are here to try and help them fight that battle, and allow them to focus on getting healthy so they can watch their grandchildren grow. We understand that times are tough right now, and if monetary donations are not realistic for you, we completely understand. Sharing this link or information with anyone who may have benefited from the Schreiner’s generosity over the years would go a long way.
Thank you for reading, and please join us as we pray for a speedy recovery and long-lasting health for these wonderful people.
