Emergency Vet

Hi, my name is Dylan Robinson. I am an Ed-tech at an elementary school in Maine. That’s not important, however:
That kitty’s name is Pumpkin - we took him in as a stray in October of 2017. He is, without a doubt, one of the coolest cats in existence. He is more dog than cat - he is a stinky little meatball - he is the PERFECT cat for helping to train other animals in being more sociable. He is my rock, my son, and quite literally the most important thing in my life.
Last Thursday, he didn’t finish his food (for the first time in 6 years), and on Friday he didn’t eat at all. I’ve been to Pet Medic, Portland, ME three times - once on Saturday, Sunday, and again yesterday. All in all, I’ve spent about $1,300 so far.
His vitals are immaculate, and the X-rays show nothing out of the ordinary… he was given an antibiotic on Saturday, and a pro biotic powder, and has been given subcutaneous fluids twice. Things are not improving… he has still barely eaten anything, and continues to be extremely lethargic.
At this point, the vet is recommending to take him to the emergency vet to begin with an ultrasound - I’ve applied for loans and various credit cards (care credit, scratchpay, through my bank, and OPPLoans) all to no avail… I currently do not have enough money to afford this.
I am absolutely terrified - the vet even said “this is so strange, he does not seem to be near his time AT ALL.” He means literally everything in the world to me, and I have to try every possible avenue for getting enough money to be able to bring him there, and that’s why I am making this. So here we are, begging the people of the world/internet to help us out. Please, if you have anything to spare, I am at my wits end, and cannot have not having enough money be the cause of losing something so important and valuable and precious.
