Science Without Borders

I'm Eliza, an Edina High School student who is a part of the Rotary Global Scholars program. The program focuses on being a global citizen and how we can better the earth through the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals.) My focus is on SDGs 4 and 10 which are reduced inequalities and quality education and I am on the STEM pathway. To combine those I have developed the research question: how does access to learning materials affect a student's science education?

To answer my question I have partnered with Sidi ou Sidi school in Morocco to interview a school with a lack of resources to understand a different perspective of learning with the resources they have access to. I have been working through Hassan Ait Man an English teacher at the school and the biology department to learn more about the learning environment and compile a list of resources that they need.

I am sending the funds collected on this Gofundme to Hassan Ait Man and the Biology teachers who will use them to purchase the items listed on the project website linked here.
