Tyler & Kobi Smith’s Recovery Expenses

This fundraiser is for Tyler & Kobi Smith and family. 

Tyler Smith is a 20 year old student athlete at Alcorn State University from Cleveland, Mississippi. He is currently a starting defensive lineman for the Alcorn Braves with no scholarship. He earned that position as a walk on which shows his work ethic and dedication to the sport he loves.

Kobi Smith is a 19 year old student whom recently started college at Mississippi Delta Community College. He is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in Agriculture. He is aspiring to play collegiate football one day. 

On Saturday, Sept 24, 2022 following Tyler’s football game against his former college, UAPB, where he also was initiated into the Tau Sigma chapter of Omega Psi Phi, their mom and 16 year old sister were involved in a tragic head on collision on the way home from Tyler’s game resulting in the loss of both of their lives. 

Right now the brothers need a peace of mind as they begin their journey to healing. As current college students, trying to plan a proper burial for their family is a tough task to ask a these two young men. We as Tyler’s brothers/friends ask that you donate anything to help Tyler and Kobi during this time. 

We want Tyler and Kobi to focus on school as much as they can and hopefully we can help them out financially so they won’t have to worry about how to pay for school, burial expenses, and to ensure they will be able make it through life without their mom and sister. 

Tyler and Kobi will be forever grateful for your help during this time to continue passion of playing football and finishing school. Anything helps! And for those who are unable to help at the time. No problem. Knowing that prayer is always welcomed.
