Scoil Phadraig National School soccer teams.

In a historic first for the FAI Schools’ Primary 5 a side competition, Scoil Phádraig, Westport have become Connacht Champions for both their Boys’ and Girls’ teams. Both teams will now go on to the All Ireland Finals taking place in the Aviva Stadium, Dublin on 29th May 2024. The boys are hoping to win the All Ireland title for the first time, while the girls are hoping to defend their 2023 All Ireland title.

The whole Scoil Phádraig community wants to support their two fantastic teams and give them the best possible chance to achieve victory on 29th May. But’s its less than 2 weeks away, and we need to raise €7,000 to fund travel, food, and accommodation for the sixteen players and three coaches, and hopefully allow our 4th, 5th and 6th classes to have the incredible opportunity to cheer on their teammates in the national stadium.

We are asking our school community, the wider Westport community, and all those who would like to support our record breaking students, who are making our school, our town &our county proud by representing Scoil Phádraig Westport in the All-Ireland finals, to please dig deep and donate what you can to fund this, if you can, in the very short time we have to make it happen.
