Scoreboard at Lucia Bremer Memorial Field

On April 23, 2021 the Henrico School Board voted unanimously to rename the Quioccasin Middle school athletic field the Lucia Bremer Memorial Field, and on May 3rd the field was dedicated in her honor. Lucia was a true light who touched the lives of so many in her community and beyond. Once again the community is coming together to ensure that her name and legacy continues to shine on. The existing scoreboard cannot be retrofitted to include the new name of the field, so donations are being accepted to replace it. The new scoreboard at the Lucia Bremer Memorial Field will carry her name, but more importantly it will be a reminder to all who visit to live life to the fullest, be kind, encourage others and be a role model- just as Lucia did. The new scoreboard will be built in such a way that it can be repositioned should the QMS campus undergo renovations.

 

Any donations raised over the amount needed to cover the scoreboard will be donated to the Lucia Whalen Bremer Memorial Scholarship Fund.
