Scorpion 13U Maroon Baseball Team

The 13 U Scorpions Maroon Travel Baseball team has earned a berth to the National Youth Baseball Championship, that is held in Yaphank, New York. They have worked very hard this past year by winning 6 championships, in tournaments held in Nevada and California. These young boys represent Northern Nevada. Their dedication and love of the game is very intense. The Scorpions are seeking help from our surrounding communities, friends and distant relatives and family friends, in getting them to New York, July 24-31. They qualified by winning the NYBC tournament qualifier on April 27, at Golden Eagle Regional Park, in Sparks, Nevada. There are only 16 teams chosen across the United States, and the Scorpions were selected to play by the NYBC. They have only two months to raise money for expenses for their trip, such as hotels and airfare. They are asking for your help, no matter how big or small. This is an opportunity of a lifetime, a dream to play at Baseball Heaven in Yaphank, New York.
