Scot Simons had a big heart, huge. Yesterday morning my niece, Garren, went in to tell her Dad that she was leaving for school and show him the new hat she knitted. He never woke up. He was 47 years old and had full custody of this little girl since she was 7. She turned 17 this month and will now have to move to adult hood without her Dad. She is strong. She is willful. She is persistent. She will survive this tragedy and will never ask for help.
