Scotland Re:Design Covid-19 Recovery Fund

Scotland Re:Designed has produced events and fundraising campaigns since 2005 to put Scottish Fashion, Accessories and Interiors on the map, highlighting the economic value & scale of the workers, connecting Designers with Stockists, Influencers & Media, creating Showcases for Talent, Jobs and Sales in Scotland, London and around the world, and offering annual Awards of Cash Bursaries & Mentoring.
Covid-19 saw the cancellation of all 2020's events, shoots and shows, an entire year deleted. The registered not-for-profit is now actively working with a team of volunteers to ensure the same does not happen again, and relaunched the annual November showcase online in 2021, with an Opening Night at V&A Dundee.
If we can raise the target, then in 2022/23 we will:
1) Create an online community for Fashion and Textile workers and business development, sharing jobs, links, with Workshops, job guidance and links to support Self-Employment, Advice and Networking.
2) Create Awards, Online Showcases, eCommerce Editorial Pages to Promote & Highlight the best of Scotland's new Graduates and established Designers, Makers, Retailers, Ecommerce Workers, Stylists, Hair and Make-up Artists, Models and other Fashion, Accessories & Interiors Creatives, all hugely affected by lockdown.
Any support will be so gratefully received, and anything you can offer will help ensure decades of work and progress are not lost to Brexit or Lockdown.
This fund will help prevent people from moving away, ensure that many Scottish creatives and businesses receive support, that we create new digital platforms and networks for the future. We shall highlight the Scots Fashion, Accessories and Textiles, Interiors and Creative graduates of 2020 and 2021 to industry in 2022 and 2023, whilst helping people work towards Sustainability goals.
