Help Scotlen play bassoon in Europe!

Hi, my name is Scotlen. I am 14 years-old and have a serious passion for music. I practice my multiple instruments constantly- just ask my parents and neighbors! My primary instrument is bassoon, and my favorite song is Mahler 1st Symphony, 3rd Movement. I even force my parents to listen to classical music in the car while I'm learning to drive (although this may have to stop because I tend to get a little too distracted).

Recently, I was nominated to play bassoon with Northern Musicians Abroad on a European tour next summer. I will be joining students from all over Montana and North Dakota to perform in England, France, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, and more! Germany happens to be the birthplace of my favorite instrument- the contrabassoon, which is the lowest instrument of the orchestra and is not very common. I am really hoping to get to see -and maybe even play- contrabassoon while I am in Europe. Any help you can provide to help make this trip a reality is really appreciated!
