Scott Alan Whittington

Scott Alan Whittington was a charismatic, outgoing person who never met a stranger. He loved sharing his memories of his friends at Camden Christian Academy, especially his favorite pastime playing basketball. He was born on October 13,1981 and was called home on March 6, 2024. Scott is preceded in death by his mother, Tammy Lynn Vargas Whittington, who was also his very best friend. He most enjoyed their daily morning conversations over coffee. I created this account because Scott was a dear friend of mine for over 20 years and he is survived by our 16 year old, son Karter Alan Whittington. Karter was Scott’s pride and joy & the greatest gift he ever could have given me. Losing a parent at 16 is difficult enough without having to stress about how to cover final expenses. I know for sure, Scott would not have wanted to leave that burden for him. If anyone would like to donate anything to help cover the expenses so Karter can focus on grieving and take comfort in knowing his dad was greeted in heaven by his meme. Thank you.
