Help Scott and Krista Haynes move into a new home

Update on April 24: they now have only until May 15 to move into a new home. The owner has moved the date up by 6 weeks. He does not care one bit about the predicament they are in. He doesn’t even need them to move. This is just the kind of thing he does, without one bit of remorse.

At this point I would just love to help them find a new rental home and afford to hire movers to help pack and get them moved Scott is going through inpatient rehab and dialysis right now and how awful if he doesn’t even have a home to go home to.

Hi everyone, my name is Holly B and I’m starting this account to help our neighbors be able to stay in their home. Scott is facing all kinds of major health issues - he needs a kidney transplant and is on dialysis, he had to have part of his foot amputated in January, and he just found out he has 2 blockages in his heart that need stents put in tomorrow. The list goes on and on, his health has been declining for a few years now. His wife Krista was an RN, and she takes care of him in their home day and night and can only manage to work part time because of his healthcare needs.

That said, the owner of their home is the developer of our subdivision and he is literally the worst human being any of us have ever met. It would take me all day to type out all of the horrible things he’s done and said to all neighbors, the whole city knows who he is, his reputation precedes him - nobody ever wants to work with him because he ruins every business relation he has. He doesn’t take care of the subdivision, leaving it to everyone who cares to do the work.

And now…..

He’s refusing to renew Scott and Krista’s lease for the home they’ve lived in for the past 5 years! He doesn’t care about the work they’ve done to it. He doesn’t care that Scott mowed all around the property for him until he just couldn’t do it anymore last year. He doesn’t care about the improvements they’ve made to the yard - in fact he even told them he hated what they’ve done and he’s going to rip it all out.

He raised the asking price for the house to a point that they cannot do it, and not to mention expecting them to pack and move in a short amount of time while Scott is literally fighting for his life! He was just taken by ambulance back to the hospital on Sunday.

I realize this is a bit of a ramble, but for ONCE we would like to see the good in the world put this developer in his place and not let him destroy anyone else!!!

Scott is the kind of person who would do anything to help ANYONE - he used to plow all of our driveways in the winter, he kept our neighborhood mowed, he helped us plan an amazing surprise party one year, he’s a wonderful friend, always greets everyone with a smile. I could go on and on

Let’s pull a miracle off for them!!

The last thing they need right now is to deal with finding a new home and trying to pack and get moved. They also have a sweet dog named Georgia that is too big for most other rental options.

This is their home and right now they desperately need safety, peace, comfort and security.

We need good to overcome evil in this situation!!

And even if we don’t reach this astronomical goal, what is raised would then be used for them to move and hopefully buy a different home. Bare minimum, at least get them moved into a new rental, and help with medical costs and living expenses!

But I believe in the power of good and caring people!

WE CAN DO THIS!!!

Please share with anyone and everyone you know. If you knew just how terrible of a person the owner of this house is and how ruthless, deceitful, unscrupulous, unkind and uncaring he is, you would never hesitate to help Scott and Krista!
