Scott Bruggeman's Celebration of LIFE

My name is Jay Byer and I have been friends with Bruggie for over 35 years. After meeting in college, moving to Phoenix as poor roommates, working at a couple jobs together and supporting each other through many of life’s ups and downs I can truly call him my best friend. He was uncle Scott to my boys and truly part of my family.

I know that many of you have your own personal story and history with Scott as he touched so many lives. We can all agree there is nobody else in this world that could come close to representing the kind of person, friend, son, and husband Scott was. You always knew where he stood with Scott agree or disagree and if you were his friend he was a friend for life and always had your back.

Dani mentioned that Scott had no bucket list and this defines the kind of man he was and one of the main reasons he has so many dear friends. We all often wished we would live our lives like he did and sometimes caught ourselves living through him. Scott always had a smile, a friendly word and as long as I have known him had no one he considered an enemy.

If you knew him you know I could go on and on about him but the reason for this GoFundMe is to help his wife, Dani, with the upcoming celebration of life party in honor of our dear friend. We want to make sure she does not have to lift a hand or pick up a paper plate. Dani deserves to spend the entire time laughing with their friends, telling and listening to stories and just having a good time. Our goal with this is to hire catering, cover refreshments and have their home professionally cleaned the next day. Any amount helps and we all know Scott would be the first person in line to support this for any one of us or our loved ones.
