In loving memory of Scott Deckrow, our cherished friend, brother, son, husband, and dad; this fund is a lifeline for his beloved wife Jessica and their darling daughters Gwen (6) and Sofie (3).

At just 44, Scott was shockingly diagnosed with Liver Cancer (HCC - Hepatocellular Carcinoma) on December 29th. Faced with this deadly diagnosis and less than a month to live, he fought for 3 months with every ounce of his might and spirit. In the end, he passed away peacefully on April 4th. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Jessica and their beautiful daughters Gwen (6) and Sofie (3) as they navigate this challenging period of grief and the profound loss of an incredible father and husband.

Having grown up together, Scott was a treasure. His infectious laughter, innate wisdom, and unwavering kindness made every moment unforgettable. He was the type of person people liked instantly and, without ever trying, he seemed to bring out their best. Even in the darkest times, his humor and genuine care lifted our spirits. Scott wasn't just a devoted husband and father; he was the financial backbone of his family, ensuring their needs were met as the sole provider while Jessica lovingly cared for Gwen and Sofie. We will admire him forever.

In lieu of flowers, this fund is our way of wrapping Jessica, Gwen, and Sofie in a tight embrace, covering the immense hospital bills, and helping them navigate this journey of grief and loss. And for Gwen and Sofie, it's a promise to support them in their education and dreams, just as Scott would have wanted.
