Scott Gallagher’s Heart Journey

Hello everyone! At the beginning of the year, our stepfather, Scott Gallagher, suffered from a heart attack which turned into a downward spiral of four open heart surgeries. This past week he had another open heart surgery in Ohio which was successful, but the day before thanksgiving, his chest popped back open and they found an infection. On Thanksgiving day, they made a journey back down to Cleveland to close his chest once again and found the infection has spread through his body and into the bloodstream. The doctors are currently concerned this infection has affected the heart valves and his heart itself. Right now, our concerns are to get him healthy and back home as his only goal at the beginning of this journey was to be home for the holidays with his family. With being out of work and insurance only covering so much, the antibiotic alone to get rid of the infection is $500 each dosage. This has put a huge financial and emotional burden on our family. We are asking for any help from friends and family to get our stepdad healthy again. Thank you for any help and your prayers as well.
