Scott & Gayla Wilson

My amazing friends Scott and Gayla Wilson are amazing people and there lives have been turned upside down since October. This is Scott's story....

After returning from a long painful work trip in October, I went to the dr for severe back pain. Within 24 hrs, I'm told that I can no longer work or drive. Driving was my income as I drove a tour bus for a living. What started as back issues ended up with a cancer diagnosis. I've been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that has spread thru out my body. I've undergone 18 radiation treatments to my spine just to elevate some pain so I could start chemo. I've gone thru 4 rounds of IV chemo with no improvements so I'm now doing the pill form of chemo and praying to see some positive results on my next scans.

Not only has my family been affected by my loss of income, Gayla has taken FLMA to care for me and take me to all appts etc. Her leave has expired and she has had to extend it without pay. Insurance premiums are expensive as well as co pays, medications, therapies. Insurance has denied one of the two chemo pills that I need to hopefully survive this cancer. Out of pocket price for the pill is more than we can afford. We are praying with appealing their denial, it will get covered. I am a fighter, I want to see my daughters graduate and grow into their lives. I want to grow old with Gayla and watch our grandbabies play. If you can donate, thank you in advance.
