Scott Harkness Memorial Fundraiser

As you know by now, longtime Indian School Park beach volleyball fan, community legend and Special Olympics athlete Scott Harkness has passed in the most heinous of circumstances.

 

Scott was always at every one of our volleyball games and was extremely kind & nice to everyone who played. From the outpouring of support you can tell he was absolutely beloved by everyone in pretty much all of Scottsdale!

He was a happy bright light who just wanted to part of our community and was definitely ingrained in our league & the entire community.

 

With that said, we wanted to give him something he deserves, which is a memorial bench at Indian School Park so he can always watch us play and be there forever. 

 

We are collecting donations for the bench and hope his happy attitude can live with us forever. We have already purchased the Memorial Bench for him at the courts & are also planting a memorial tree for him at the Scottsdale Adaptive Center.

His family asked for all excess funds to go towards the Scottsdale Special Olympics team in Scott's name.
