Funeral expenses for Scott Hensley

Hi, my name is Amy Raynes and I am starting this gofundme for my niece, Megan Hensley aka Meg, aka Starrgh, to help cover funeral costs for her father, Scott Hensley who passed away at home on April 19th, 2023.

Scott was a free-spirit and loved life. He worked for for his landlord in exchange for housing. Unfortunately, there is no savings or insurance to cover funeral costs.

Meg (Starrgh) is left trying to pick up the pieces, arrange for her father’s final resting spot, and close bank accounts and other estate details.

To make matters worse, the landlord is now trying to evict them before Meg (Starrgh) can even catch her breath. This means that she has to go through all of his belongings immediately. She has no time to grieve and reflect. The plan is to pack everything and ship it to her home, this way she can go through it at a later time to determine what she would like to keep.

Meg (Starrgh) has had a very crappy year, with losing her tutu (grandma) in February, her best (fur) friend Dro in March, and now her father. She’s been flying back and forth to be where she is needed, but that also means she isn’t working. No income and the expense of flying to and from California, to Virginia, to Hawaii, has left her without any means to help with funeral costs.

No one should have the stress over whether or not you can afford your father’s expenses. Meg (Starrgh) is already emotionally broken from all the losses she’s had to endure this year. It breaks my heart that she now has to have this additional financial stress. She will not get her father’s body until the funds can be raised.

All monies will go directly towards funeral costs. Any extra money will be used to cover shipping costs, and a plane ticket to get Lisa home with Meg (Starrgh).

Lisa is another person left grieving. She has lost her soul mate, is being evicted from her home, and will have to start over again from scratch.
