Help Scott out with medical and living expenses

Hi my name is DANIELLE, Scott Nelson’s wife, and I am fundraising to help out with medical and everyday living expenses. On July 14th Scott underwent exploratory surgery on his abdomen due severe pain, no scans or test showed anything. The doctor found extensive scar tissue and adhesions, and removed about 6in of damaged small intestines that was blocked. He spent 7 days in the hospital and was released on the 21st. He did great all that weekend but by Tuesday morning he was running a high temperature and in pain. We were advised to see his primary doctor, she wouldn’t see him. By Wednesday morning he had went as far as he could and I rushed him back to Flowers Hospital in Dothan were his surgeon was. I had gotten him there just in time! He had a tear where they had reconnected the intestine, it was life threatening! They had to do emergency surgery because he had large amounts of air, bowels, and infection in him. After 3 1/2 hours In surgery they got him stabilized. He is now in ICU with drains in him and a colostomy bag. If anyone knows Scott they know the passion he has for restoring and working on old tractors. We are a mom and pop small business and with him in the shape he is I have had to close down until he can heal and get back on his feet! We know there will be one or more surgeries to go before the true healing begins. Our business is the only income we have, we have exhausted what little we had saved.
