Scott Prichard COVID19 Medical Assistance
Scott Prichard is a 30 year-old loving son, brother, nephew and family member.
Scott is also extremely valued, very caring and a loving individual to many outside of his immediate family including, but not limited to, his friends and work colleagues.
Scott tested positive to COVID-19 several weeks ago. Scott, upon receiving his test results, quarantined at home for 14 days per CDC guidelines. Nearing the end of his quarantine period, Scott showed obvious signs of difficulty breathing, among other symptoms.
Scott was immediately admitted to St. Francis ICU and placed on a ventilator. In the weeks ahead, Scott has undergone several tests and specialized medical treatments. It was determined Scott needed additional and further specialized care and was moved to St Mary's ICU where he has been battling COVID-19 for close to a month now.
Scott has had some [very] difficult battles over the last several weeks but neither he, or his family/friends, have given up.
While Scott continues to fight this virus, in his quest to defeat it, Scott's medical expenses continue to pile up during this time. Scott has slowly started showing signs of improvement; though he will obviously have a long road ahead in his quest to fully recover.
We, Scott's family, friends and work colleagues have all come together to create this fund raiser to assist with the ultimate financial burden Scott will have to endure once he recovers. Not only do the bills continue to pile up during his hospital stay, but they will continue to do so as he will most likely undergo further tests as well as physical therapy long after his recovery.
