Scott Reynolds cancer journey
Donation protected
As a lot of you know by now, our Conroe high school friend Scott Reynolds was recently diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Head and Neck. He has undergone 3 surgeries, 7 chemo treatments and 35 radiation treatments. As you can imagine, it has become quite difficult if not impossible at times to swallow, eat and talk. As a result, Scott has been fitted with a temporary feeding tube to help keep his strength up. While his prognosis appears to be good at this time, his road to recovery will be difficult. Scott has the loving support of his wife Robin and their two children Alexandra & Zach. The kids are both away at college and Robin continues to teach elementary school. Unfortunately, Scott’s employer decided to let him go rather than allow him a medical leave. This has put a very heavy financial burden on their family in an already tumultuous time. While it would be nice to put bills and financial responsibilities on hold during a medical crisis, we all know that it is just not possible. In addition to providing for his family, for many years now, Scott has lovingly provided a home and support for his elderly uncle who struggles with a mental disability. At this time, I am asking those of you who can, to please help me raise some much deserved financial support for Scott’s family. Our hope would be that this support would remove the burden of financial strain and allow Scott to focus on his treatments and ultimate recovery. And please keep Scott and his family in your prayers are they travel this long and bumpy road. Thank you all so much, John Kellen
