Scott Sears Medical Support

Dear friends of Scott Sears and his Family,

For those of you that know Scott, he is naturally an outgoing, comical, fun, and loving guy. He would give anyone the shirt off his own back to make someone smile and feel happy. Being in the hospitality

industry for many years, he has made many friends along the way, with who he has left a lasting impression. I can’t ever remember Scott not having a positive and vibrant outlook on life. He brings light to those around him, and he is so very special to so many.

On November 12, 2022, our friend Scott was diagnosed with an aggressive stage 3 lymphoma.

This was quite a shock to Scott, as he really had no symptoms other than being tired and just not feeling himself. He had an ongoing fever for over 30 days, and it spiked to 106. At that time he went to the hospital, and after numerous tests and scans, Scott received three words no one can ever imagine "You have cancer."

Scott started chemotherapy and radiation on Nov 13th, 2022. As can be imagined, this causes him to be extremely tired, sick, and not wanting to do anything that he would normally do.

Due to Scott’s diagnosis, he is no longer able to work full-time, though he continues to work as a General Manager at a local hotel. (Yes, Scott is still working part-time as he is able).

His insurance is not robust and does not cover a large portion of his medical bills, which continue to pile up. We are asking for donations to assist Scott with his medical expenses which have become exorbitant.

I know Scott has a lot of raving fans out there, and I wanted to be sure everyone knows what he is going through. Scott has shared this news with close friends and family but has not shared this story publicly, as he is a humble human and does not want to “burden others” (his words). That is just how Scott is…..

I am asking that we can all rally together and help Scott as he takes on this brutal fight, as he does have a tough battle ahead of him. Any amount you can contribute will help and be greatly appreciated.
