Scott Siegel's BROADWAY BY THE SEASON

For those of you who don't know me, I was the creator, writer, director, and host of Town Hall's signature series, Broadway by the Year. Sadly, Town Hall has currently decided not to continue the series after 21 record-breaking years. But here is the good news...

I have launched a brand new series titled "Scott Siegel's BROADWAY BY THE SEASON" that has a unique mild weather run of four, one-night-only concerts. We have put on three of the concerts in our series, with the fourth and final show of our first season set to take place on October 30th at 8 PM at our new venue, Merkin Hall, at 129 West 67th Street, near Lincoln center.

BROADWAY BY THE SEASON is an all-star series full of famous Broadway show tunes. Each concert consists of two great Broadway seasons, divided by an intermission. In this way, in one evening, you'll see and hear how Broadway music changed from one era to another, while enjoying the greatest songs of each season. Our last show on October 30th will feature the Broadway show tunes born during the 1987-88 season in the first act, then the 2013-14 season in the second act..

Among the stars who have participated in our last three concerts have been:Tony Award winner Bill Irwin, Tony Nominee Christiane Noll, Tony Nominee Willy Falk, 4x Golden Globe Nominee and TV star Tony Danza, 4X Grammy Award Winner John Easterlin, Broadway stars Jill Paice, Kendrick Jones, Danny Gardner, and Internationally famous concert artists, Ben Jones, Maxine Linehan, and Gunhild Carling.

But in order to insure the bottom doesn't fall out of the final concert, and to keep these concerts coming next season, I need your help. I'm renting Merkin Hall, there are costs for everything in order to put these concerts on the stage. Ticket sales alone do not come close to paying for these shows, so anything you can do to give me a leg up on making this next show -- and this entire new series --successful will be greatly appreciated.

With your help, BROADWAY BY THE SEASON will be a brand new hit series that honors the history and the brilliance of Broadway's past, while giving today's stars the chance to sing all of that great music at Merkin Hall just for you!
