Update: Scott passed from covid on 11/08/21 after a long and brave battle. We will be forever changed. Thank you to all who have shown us such kindness, grace & hope.
Funds will be used for medical expenses, funeral costs, loss of income, tutoring for grandaughter, home repairs & maintenance, and basic living expenses.
Original post: As many of you may be aware, Scott remains in ICU battling COVID. He is critical and fighting for his life. We remain hopeful and focused on the belief that he will be coming home to us. His recovery will be extensive. Prior to this, he worked FT. He does not have additional leave time and so we will be without his income. We are assisting to raise our young grandaughter and provide for her financial needs. We will also need to set up our home to accommodate Scott’s rehabilitation when he is able to come home. Many have asked us how they can help and so we decided to set this up if you’d like to contribute. Funds will be used for Scott’s medical bills and other needs; home equipment; rehabilitation; family travel/meals to hospital; Tutoring for grandaughter (she has missed a lot of school due to family illness and medical crisis); basic home repairs/maintenance.
We are grateful for your assistance and thoughtfulness! It will certainly help to unburden Scott from financial worries so that he can focus on his health & recovery.
