Scott Whitcomb

Scott Whitcomb is a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend to many! Here is a quick rundown on Scott, he is a U. S. Army Veteran, cancer survivor and one of the best Hardscape Experts in the field for 35 years, which he loved with a passion. He was also blessed to be able to do many beautiful jobs with his 2 sons Justin and Scott Jr. and his daughter Amanda helping with other aspects of his work. Scott’s wife Cheryl has been a faithful and caring nurse for a long term nursing home for many years now and has been driving herself into the ground trying to support them during his fight. Scott has been fighting emphysema for many years now and has progressed to Stage 4 ( Gold ) status. Unfortunately, he has dropped to 20% lung function and recently been approved for Double Lung Volume Reduction surgery. This will also prequalify him for a double lung transplant in the future. This is going to be a long slow recovery road they will travel for roughly 6 months. With Gods help. As we all know, sometimes the hours worked and caring for others doesn’t cover these kind of expenses or given the appreciation all nurses should be given. This page was created to try and ease all the daily burdens his wife Cheryl and he will be experiencing before, during and after his surgery at the end of May.
