Scott White has been an incredibly loyal Harbor Master and manager at CYC for more than a decade. He considers CYC his second home, where he has spent many hours always doing all that he can for management and members to ensure that all is as it should be, doing his part with others there to make sure that members and staff have what they need at all times, and that all is running well and kept pristine - he has been committed since day one , he is a hardworking man of integrity and honesty , always proper and courteous, a true gentleman in all ways at all times. Scott goes above and beyond always for all he knows, as most people who have encountered him would agree. He is an expert at handling even the most difficult of situations, a master at finding solutions, he makes life easier for everyone he encounters. He is truly a great man. He is a loving father to his son Drew, whom he considers to be his most treasured accomplishment, spending as much time together as they can, building the bonds that grow stronger with time as good fathers do. Scott resides on the East side with his wife Judith and many of her family members and friends who love him, especially his Evelynn, who considers him her “Grandpa”. Always a proud “West Side” original resident, Scott grew up in the Lakewood and Rocky River area, where along with his “East Side” family, he remains close to his father Jim White and his other family members. He continues strong friendships with the many lifetime friends he has had since his childhood days. His commitment to all who know him is always evident in all he says and does every day. He is simply the best in all he does in his life. As many of you already know, Scott is battling cancer at this time, and he is winning the war! With the treatments he has been having and the support of his physicians, family and friends, and his “work family”, he will beat this as his physicians have assured him. As many of you can see, he is still working and handling his responsibilities in his usual professional way - he is strong and deeply committed to the membership at CYC as he makes his way through his treatment regimen. He, along with his family, are forever humbled and grateful for the support that is always extended his way from his CYC family as he continues to extinguish this disease from his life. As he recovers during his treatments, he will continue his work at CYC, for there is where he wishes to remain. We thank you all at this time for all that you do for him - we are forever grateful.
