Dear Friends,
I wanted to take a moment to request your assistance, (something I rarely do). I wanted to take a moment to talk about my best friend; many of you know him. His name is Scott Kropman. Please allow me to tell you a little about my friend whom I look upon as my brother and his scenario.
Scott has Stage IV Cancer that is INCURABLE
Neuroendocrine Carcinoma - Stage IV: The tumor has spread to distant parts of the body via Lymph Nodes, such as the liver, lung & bone. In Scott's case, It is in every bone from his hips to his jaw. It has also spread to the Liver, Lungs and Kidneys.
Prognosis: Most neuroendocrine tumors are slow growing and rapid advances in diagnosis and treatment have significantly improved the prognosis. Newer studies have reported 5-year survival rates as high as 77%–95% in malignant neuroendocrine cancers as compared to lower survival rates in the past.
Scott is one of the rare people we run into in life. He is truly genuine, honest, loyal, humble and caring. Anyone that knows Scott knows how true this is. Scott is the type of individual that would give the shirt off his back if it would help another through hard times. For those of you who do not know Scott. He is a father of 7 wonderful children and a husband to a saint of a wife. He prides himself on his family. His children are all honor students, and have earned about every award imaginable. They all excel in sports and are the most respectful children you'll meet. They say the apples do not fall far from the tree. His children are a reflection of Scott and his wife. Nothing but good things have ever been said about this family.
For many years he has been a volunteer coach donating his time to help kids in both Football and Wrestling. For the past 2.5 years he has done this while in constant pain from his ongoing battle with Cancer. He sees how it has helped his own children succeed and excel and wants to keep kids on the path to success. He truly wants to give back to the community that has given so much to him.
I know many of you have helped in the past when he wsa first diagnosed 2 years ago, but please keep in mind he at least at this point has not Kicked Cancers Ass so he still requires treatment, scans, pain medication and much more. The medical bills have made them cut back on other things and I don’t mean the cool shoes or the nice bikes.
Please give a little or give a lot, whatever you feel is appropriate. He deserves our help, the family does as well. Google them you will find nothing but positives.
Scott, Stephany, Skylar, Parker, Max, Cooper, Chloe, Zane and Logan will thank you from the bottom of their hearts even if Scott might feel awkward that I’m doing this. I would not if I didn’t feel they needed our assistance. If you know Scott like I do you know he will never ask for help, he does not want to burden those around him. Yet he is typically the first one to lend a hand. I am not asking for you to give what you cannot afford just something so we can help the helper pay the fees he needs to keep his Cancer in check.
Thank you greatly
