Dear friends and family,
This is our wonderful Rev. Scott Sheet.

Last year, Scott learned that he had stomach cancer and proceeded to undergo two months of painful radiation and chemotherapy. On March 19th, 2014, he went into surgery where doctors removed his stomach. Unfortunately, the cancer had spread to surrounding areas and he had to continue receiving chemotherapy treatment soon after his operation.
Scott's hope was never hindered however and he continued to be an encouragement and joy for all those around him. He married Lili on April 16th and even planned on finishing coursework onsite at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Despite medical complications and lifestyle adjustments, Scott and Lili remained strong in their faith.

Last month, Scott had difficulty breathing during a Sunday service in Boston and was rushed to the ER. He had suffered a collapsed lung, which kept him in the hospital for the next three weeks. Upon his return to his wife in New York, Scott had to be readmitted to the hospital again because of an obstruction in his small intestines. Because of Scott's weak health, the doctors don't want to operate because it can cause even more blockage afterwards because of additional scarring in the already narrow small intestine. He is presently still in the hospital.
Scott no longer has a steady income and will need to pay for his insurance in full. It was previously paid for by Boon Church. The purpose of this campaign is to provide a means for those who want to support Scott and Lili financially to do so online. All proceeds will go directly to Scott to help with the upcoming medical bills.
Thank you so much for your constant support through prayer, encouragement, and financial gifts. Scott and Lilli truly appreciate all that has been done for them and thank God for giving them such wonderful friends, brothers, and sisters like you!
