Scott’s battle with Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma

In November 2023, my mother Leanne, was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of her soft palate. However, at the same time, my father, Scott, started showing worrying signs that something was not quite right. A MRI showed that my dad had approximately eleven lesions on his brain. He was quickly deteriorating, and eventually had to be admitted to the hospital because he was having several seizures. At the same time, my mom was recovering from her intensive surgery to have the cancer removed, my dad was beginning the fight for his life.

He is set to begin both radiation and immunotherapy treatments in the coming weeks.

My father has been the sole breadwinner for the family and he is no longer able to work. And as most know, with a cancer diagnosis, the bills can rapidly pile up. So I have taken it upon myself to set up this gofundme with the hope that somehow together we can help support my parents financially with the immense monetary burden that comes with cancer, such as chemotherapy treatments, procedures, etc that will be necessary during this battle.
